Considered by many to be the default choice for linear motion applications, the round shaft reticulating linear ball bearing is a tried and tested option suitable for most linear motion applications. This is the closed, compact thin wall ISO Metric version. This bearing is most commonly found in Europe. It is size interchangeable with other manufacturers and with PBC’s Simplicity bearings.

ID sizes range from 6 mm to 50 mm
Static Load Capacities up to 6300 N (1400 lb)
Dynamic Load Capacities up to 5500 N (1200 lb)
Size Interchangeable with industry standards & with “Simplicity” series
Low Coefficient of Friction
Heat treated alloy steel shell
Resin retainer for reduced noise
Good temperature range: -20/+80C (-4/+176F)
Double Seals included standard  bearing is a machine element that constrains relative motion to only the desired motion, and reduces friction between moving parts. The design of the bearing may, for example, provide for free linear movement of the moving part or for free rotation around a fixed axis; or, it may prevent a motion by controlling the vectors of normal forces that bear on the moving parts. Many bearings also facilitate the desired motion as much as possible, such as by minimizing friction. Bearings are classified broadly according to the type of operation, the motions allowed, or to the directions of the loads (forces) applied to the parts. SLIDING BUSHINGS ARE THE LINEAR SYSTEMS THAT ARE USED WITH ADJUSTED SHAFTS. THEY CAN PRODUCE LINEAR MOVEMENTS WITH LIMITED FRICTIONS AND PROVIDE FOR A SMOOTH AND PRESICE MOTION.
